Are You Dry?
Check if your grind is normal, dry, very dry, or full pain.
Check Your OSRS Drop Luck
First, add the drop rate. Next, add your attempts. Then see your dry odds and verdict.
This tool uses simple independent drop odds. Some OSRS drop tables, raids, and pets may have extra rules.

What Does Dry Mean In OSRS?
Dry means you went past the expected drop rate without getting the item. However, OSRS RNG does not remember your past kills. Each kill still has the same drop chance.

How OSRS Drop Chance Works
A drop rate like 1 in 512 means each attempt has one chance out of 512. However, it does not mean you are promised the item at 512 kills.
For example, some players get the drop early. Meanwhile, other players go past the rate and still see nothing.
So, the drop rate is only the chance on each roll. It is not a timer.
How OSRS Dryness Is Calculated
First, the calculator finds the chance of missing the drop in one attempt. Next, it repeats that miss chance for your full kill count.
Therefore, the dry chance shows how likely it is to have zero drops after that many attempts.
OSRS Dryness Formula
The dry chance formula is simple:
Dry Chance = (1 - drop chance) ^ attempts
Also, the chance of getting at least one drop is:
Drop Chance = 1 - dry chance
OSRS Drop Rate Formula Explained
If an item is 1 in 512, the drop chance is 1 divided by 512. Then the calculator uses your attempts to find the total chance.
For example, 512 kills at a 1/512 rate gives about a 63% chance to have seen at least one drop.

OSRS Drop Chance Example Table
OSRS Drop Rate Calculator
An OSRS drop rate calculator turns a drop table number into real odds. Therefore, you can see how likely your grind is at your current KC.
However, it cannot predict the next kill. RNG stays random every time.
OSRS Drop Rate Calculator Vs Dryness Calculator
A drop rate calculator explains the chance of a drop. A dryness calculator explains the chance of not getting the drop after many attempts.
So, both tools use the same math, but they answer different questions.
Dryness Calculator OSRS
This dryness calculator for OSRS shows both sides of the grind. First, it shows your chance to have seen the drop. Next, it shows your chance to still be dry.
Because both numbers matter, the result feels easier to understand.
OSRS Dry Calc
An OSRS dry calc is useful when you are far into a boss, pet, or skilling grind. Also, it can help you see if your dry streak is rare or still normal.
However, it should not make you think the next kill is guaranteed.
OSRS Dryness Calculator For Pets, Raids, And Skilling
Pet Dryness
Use the pet rate and your attempts. However, check if the pet has special rules.
Skilling Dryness
Use your action count. Also, remember skilling pets can have very rare rates.
Raid Dryness
Use the final drop rate if you know it. Still, raids may have extra rules.
Boss Dryness
Use kill count and item rate. Then compare your result with the dry meter.
OSRS Pet Dryness Calculator
Pet grinds can feel painful because many pets have very rare rates. Therefore, even thousands of attempts may still leave a normal dry chance.
For pet hunts, use the pet drop rate and your full attempt count.
OSRS Skilling Dryness Calculator
Skilling pets often use rare rates and many attempts. For example, a player may do thousands of actions and still miss the pet.
So, use your estimated attempt count and the pet rate. Then check your dry chance.
TOA Drop Calculator Note
TOA and other raids may use more complex drop rules. Therefore, a simple dry calculator may not match every raid reward system.
However, it can still help if you know the final drop rate you want to test.
Future Drop Chance
Future drop chance shows your odds over your next attempts. For example, if you plan 100 more kills, the calculator can show your chance to see the item in those kills.
Still, every future kill is a separate roll.
Common OSRS Dry Calc Mistakes
Thinking Rate Means Promise
1/512 does not promise a drop at 512 KC.
Forgetting Fresh Rolls
Each kill has the same chance as the last kill.
Using Wrong Rate
Always check the real drop table first.
Ignoring Raid Rules
Some raids use extra reward rules and team scaling.
Long Grinds Deserve A Small Laugh
OSRS RNG can feel brutal. So, a custom mug can turn the dry streak into a funny memory.
